IMMERSION LANGUAGE LEARNING
Mariano Alarcon is an Omaha educator who desires to promote Spanish language learning through his unique immersion methods. He is the founder of Immersion Language Learning, an immersion language school that promotes easy, enjoyable, and effective Spanish learning. He has a passion for education and for the unity of different cultures through language learning.
Mariano Alarcon is a native of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, where he taught both English and Spanish for three years at a local Immersion Language School, and completed his Bachelor of Communication and Marketing Degree. He came to the United States in 2002 in order to serve as a Hispanic Minister. Following three years of service as a Hispanic Minister, he pursued teaching and was a Spanish Teacher in the state of Nebraska for 12 years. During that time, he had the honor of achieving his Master of Education Degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has experience teaching elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as adults.
Mariano’s extensive experience and study of teaching methods has led to the formation of his own immersion language program, Natural Language Approach Method. His immersion techniques allow learning to happen naturally in a fun and engaging environment. Learning is easy and effective. He offers Spanish immersion classes at affordable rates, with flexible hours, taught in group and private settings. His goal is to help others learn Spanish utilizing immersion techniques that promote faster learning and the ability to speak the language well.
